CEO Wolfram Drescher talks 5G at the Hanover Fair

April 9, 2019

As one of the key drivers for 5G enabling innovation in the state capital of Dresden, Airrays was invited to take part in a press conference addressing cutting edge communications solutions for the digitalisation of industry. Our CEO, Wolfram was in front of the cameras this past Tuesday answering questions from media representatives.

Thanks to several high-tech cooperative initiatives both public and private as well as a prestigious Technical University, Dresden has fast become one of Germany’s most relevant centres for innovative communications technology. The most relevant of which is currently 5G.

In order to further promote itself as a significant industry location especially in the area of 5G, the state capital of Dresden invited some key 5G innovation contributors to partake in a press conference at the Hannover Messe in April – one of the most relevant trade shows for industry 4.0.

Along with companies such as T-Systems, Volkswagen Saxony, SQL Projekt as well as initiatives including 5G Lab Germany and Smart Systems Hub, Airrays was represented in the context of the state capital of Dresden by our CEO, Wolfram. A local preview of this press conference took place locally at the end of March. Covered respectably by local media, the conference covered political, economic and technological conditions and challenges facing 5G roll-out in Germany. Airrays is happy to be considered a key contributor to 5G innovation in Dresden.
